Who We Are
Founder, Deans Scherrer’s passion for technical engineering led him to pursue a career in the exhibit industry; where he excelled as a production manager and eventually established an exhibit company with a partner. TMS was born from Dean’s passion for integrity engineering and emphasis on fostering long-term relationships with his clients. In fact, a technical director who observed Dean’s relaxed nature under pressure suggested the name TellMe. Dean would always respond to an inquiry with, “Tell me what you’ve got” and from that one conversation would build a phenomenal set. Though TMS has grown it has retained Dean’s passion for a creative approach to scenic design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Dean’s management style incorporates interactive communication and cohesive solutions between technical directors, lighting directors, audio technicians and rigging. This communication is carried through the entire TMS staff including our dedicated account managers; who are focused on supporting our clients.
